| AIF

Acidic Isoferitin(AIF) is an acidic isomer of ferritin, rich in H subunit, with a slightly acidic isoelectric point, prone to form polymers, and has a different antigenic composition from other ferritin proteins.Mainly present in liver cancer tissues, cardiomyocytes and neutrophil granulosa cells, as a potential tumor marker.The glycosylation modification of AIF protein in serum is relatively complete after synthesis. However, in tissues such as myocardial infarction where cells rupture and are released into the blood, the glycosylation of AIF is incomplete, and the blood circulation has an extremely fast clearance speed for it, which does not interfere with the determination of AIF in serum.

The recovery of Human AIF spiked at three different levels in samples throughout the range of the assay was evaluated in various matrices.

Samples were spiked with high concentrations of Human AIF and diluted with Universal Diluent to produce samples with values within the range of the assay.
